Revital-Ox RESERT High Level Disinfectant-Chemosterilant Revital-Ox RESERT High Level Disinfectant - Chemosterilant is a reusable high level disinfectant for processing heat sensitive, semi-critical medical devices, for which alternative methods of terminal processing are not suitable or available. It is a ready-to-use, fast, safe alternative to commonly used aldehyde [glutaraldehyde and ortho-phthalaldehyde (OPA)] solutions. Revital-Ox RESERT HLD-Chemosterilant is an oxidative chemistry, using 2% Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP), eliminating staff and patient exposure hazards associated with aldehyde-based HLD solutions. Enables exclusive monitoring of Revital-Ox™ RESERT® High Level Disinfectant Solutions Demonstrates that the minimum recommended concentration (MRC) of hydrogen peroxide is present at time of use Facilitates correct interpretation of results How Revital-Ox® RESERT® R60 Solution Test Strip Works The technology of the strip is based on a colorimetric sulfite-peroxide reaction. Immediately upon immersion in Revital-Ox® RESERT® Solution*, the Revital-Ox® RESERT® R60 Solution Test Strip will turn from yellow to blue/purple. The blue/purple coloration will remain throughout the 60 second development time if the solution is above the minimum recommended concentration (MRC) of 1.5% hydrogen peroxide. When the solution is at or below the MRC, the test strip will show non-uniform areas of blue/purple and pink or may remain yellow. Why Revital-Ox® RESERT® R60 Solution Test Strip?
