ConvaTec Aquacel AG Extra Hydrofiber Dressing

The AQUACEL® EXTRA™ Hydrofiber® Dressing by ConvaTec is an advanced dressing designed for the management of moderate to high exudating wounds. This dressing consists of two layers of Hydrofiber® technology stitched together, providing nine times greater strength and 39% higher absorbency compared to the original AQUACEL® dressing. Upon contact with wound exudate, the dressing forms a cohesive gel that intimately conforms to the wound surface, maintaining a moist environment that promotes healing and facilitates the removal of non-viable tissue (autolytic debridement). It is suitable for a variety of wounds, including pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, and surgical wounds.
