We feature this product at Safe Care Store Canada in a sterile, individually wrapped format with an included cap to maintain hygiene and prevent leakage during transport.
Benefits:
Enhanced Safety: The ENFit® connection system ensures the syringe only connects to enteral feeding tubes, significantly reducing the risk of medical errors.
High Precision: The 1mL capacity and clear graduation markings allow for the exact measurement of small medication doses.
Low Dose Tip: Specifically designed to minimize "dead space" at the tip, ensuring the patient receives the full intended dose with minimal waste.
Contamination Protection: Each syringe comes with a secure-fit cap to protect the contents and maintain sterility until the point of use.
Latex & DEHP Free: Manufactured with medical-grade materials that are safe for sensitive patients and long-term use.
How to Use:
Prepare Syringe: Remove the syringe from its sterile packaging and ensure the plunger moves smoothly within the barrel.
Draw Medication: Insert the tip into the medication or formula container and slowly pull back the plunger to the required measurement mark.
Remove Air: Gently tap the side of the syringe to move air bubbles to the top, then push the plunger slightly to expel them.
Connect and Deliver: Twist the ENFit® tip securely onto the patient's feeding tube port and depress the plunger slowly to deliver the dose.
Clean or Dispose: Following the procedure, replace the cap if the syringe is for multi-use (per facility protocol) or discard it in a proper medical waste container.
