Sterility and shelf life The heparin prefilled flush products feature a sterile fluid pathway. Stored at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), the 100U/mL concentration has a shelf life of two years. Barrel design The syringes have a consistent 10-mL syringe barrel diameter, which may help lower the risk of catheter damage due to injection pressure.
