The Acticoat 7 Drsg 6x6 is a 6 x 6 inch (15 x 15 cm) antimicrobial dressing manufactured by Smith & Nephew. This dressing is designed to provide an effective barrier against a wide range of microorganisms in partial and full-thickness wounds. It consists of five layers: two absorbent rayon/polyester layers between three layers of low-adherent polyethylene net coated with nanocrystalline silver.

• Low adherence: The silver-coated polyethylene layers are designed to minimize adherence to the wound bed, facilitating dressing removal and reducing tissue trauma.

Usage Indications:

Acticoat 7 is indicated as an antimicrobial barrier layer over partial and full-thickness wounds, including pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, first and second-degree burns, surgical wounds, and donor sites.
